Before You Order
No plug. A small battery box on the end of the wire runs the whole string on three AA batteries, so there is no outlet and no extension cord. The box tucks behind a post or up in the branches.
The remote comes with its battery. The three AAs for the string do not, so grab a set when you order rather than finding out on the 30th.

Warm Light is a soft candle-like glow, White Light is a cooler classic ghost white, and Purple reads as Halloween from a distance. Each set is one colour - the eight modes change how they flash, not what colour they are.
They are made for indoor and outdoor use and will handle ordinary autumn weather. The listing does not publish a waterproof rating, so we would hook the battery box up off the ground rather than leave it sitting in a puddle.
